Brief Overview:

Amwell is seeking a motivated, dynamic, results-oriented, and collaborative Learning Program Specialist with exceptional project management skills to join the Learning team. This role will be responsible for organizing, managing, implementing, deploying, and evaluating learning projects, programs, and training initiatives for Amwells federal government clients. This role requires a passion for learning and development, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.

Core Responsibilities:

Program Development and Management:

  • Organize, manage, and assist with developing comprehensive learning programs that align with the clients goals and objectives.
  • Support developing curriculum, instructional materials, FAQs, and assessments.

Instructional Design:

  • Utilize adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies to create engaging and effective training materials.
  • Develop learning content and training resources using various tools and technologies.

Facilitation and Delivery:

  • Host and assist facilitation of workshops, training webinars, and Office Hours support sessions for client personnel at all levels.
  • Conduct thorough quality assurance testing of training content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and functionality, identifying and resolving any issues before deployment.
  • Effectively coordinate aspects of learning programs and training materials deployment with enterprise LMS, ensuring accessibility and user engagement for a seamless learning experience.

Evaluation and Improvement:

  • Collect and analyze feedback and performance data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Make data-driven recommendations to enhance training programs and initiatives.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
  • Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and learners.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and development within the client organization.
  • Develop and execute communication strategies to effectively inform stakeholders about upcoming training roadmaps, course deployments, and LMS updates, ensuring timely and clear dissemination of information.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Human Resources, or a related field AND/OR 3 to 5 years of experience in learning and development, instructional design, or a related field.
  • Experience with support and project management of government client training is desired.
  • Proven experience in designing and delivering effective training programs.
  • Awareness of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate) and learning management systems (LMS).
  • Excellent facilitation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

The typical base salary range for this position is $59040-$81180. The actual salary offer will ultimately depend on multiple factors including, but not limited to, knowledge, skills, relevant education, experience, complexity or specialization of talent, and other objective factors. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for an annual bonus based on a combination of company performance and employee performance. Long-term incentive and short-term variable compensation may be offered as part of the compensation package dependent on the role. Some roles may be commission based, in which case the total compensation will be based on a commission and the above range may not be an accurate representation of total compensation.
