Are you an experienced AI/Machine Learning Engineer with exceptional machine learning skills and experience supporting critical initiatives focused on improving various customer and financial metrics?

What youll do:

  • Collaborate with PMs and Engineering leadership to understand business needs, and design and implement technical solutions that move the needle at an organizational level
  • Partner closely with business stakeholders to ensure insights are leading to action and measuring the business impact
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI functionalities into our software applications and platforms
  • Be a key contributor to a cross-functional, agile product delivery team
  • Continuously research and experiment with state-of-the-art AI techniques and tools to enhance our product offerings
  • Deliver scalable, sustainable, and engaging products
  • Articulate engineering design strategies related to scalability, performance, security, usability, and development platforms
  • Influence decisions that impact entire AI platform
  • Plan technical direction with multi-year time horizons
  • Mentor junior members of the team on best practices, architecture, and development

Who you are:

  • 6+ years experience in Machine Learning and Data Science, or equivalent experience in Software Engineering roles with demonstrated AI/ML emphasis
  • MS or PhD degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent industry experience
  • Experience driving ML projects from conception to production deployment
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, particularly with ML workflow technologies
  • Proven experience developing data visualizations to enable data exploration, illustrate an insight or tell a story
  • Strong proficiency in Python and experience with machine learning libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc)
  • Proficiency with commercial software development practices such as CI/CD, version control (Git), automated and manual testing
  • Experience with relational and No-SQL (ElasticSearch, DynamoDB, others) databases
  • Experience with LLM applications, including prompt engineering, agents, and integration with existing systems
  • Knowledge of machine learning modeling and evaluation methodologies and workflows, and deployment of ML training and inference systems. Cloud experience preferred
  • Practical knowledge applying analytical techniques such as survival and failure analysis, regression, decision trees, segmentation, clustering, and other techniques to describe patterns and make predictions with real-world data
  • Understanding of sampling and testing methodology including A/B splits and multivariate testing
  • Strong communicator with demonstrated experience translating analytic findings to business insights and influencing business stakeholders to drive action and improved business performance

The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidates experience, their education and work location. In addition, some roles may be eligible for additional on target commission pay or bonus. The compensation package includes health and welfare benefits including paid leave.
Pay Transparency - All Full Time Employees
$119,240—$149,050 CAD
