Description
This is the first GTM hire at Veris and a rare chance to build the go-to-market engine for a company defining how enterprises train autonomous AI agents. You’ll sit next to the founders, shape the strategy, and run the plays that put Veris in the hands of the world’s best AI teams.
The role
You will be the founding GTM leader at Veris. Part strategist, part seller, part builder. You’ll design and execute our go-to-market motion across outbound, inbound, partnerships, and customer lifecycle. You’ll co-own revenue with the founders, from creating pipeline to closing complex enterprise deals.
This is not a “plug into an existing machine” role. You’ll help invent the machine: messaging, ICP, pricing, playbooks, and the early team that follows.
What you will do
- Work with the founders to set the GTM strategy across all areas
- Define ICP, key verticals, and wedge use cases.
- Shape positioning, messaging, and narratives for enterprises, startups, and partners.
- Design the overall GTM architecture: channels, motion (PLG vs SLG), and experiment roadmap.
- Co-own sales with the founders (full funnel)
- Drive top-of-funnel: outbound campaigns, events, communities, and founder-led content.
- Qualify and advance opportunities: discovery, solution mapping, value modeling, and pilots.
- Build and refine GTM assets
- Create decks, one-pagers, case studies, and demo flows that resonate with technical buyers.
- Work closely with product and engineering to turn customer needs into crisp narratives and demos.
- Capture and systematize customer stories and outcomes to fuel future sales.
- Lay the foundations for a future GTM team
- Implement the first systems and processes: CRM hygiene, stages, OKRs, and reporting.
- Identify what to in-source vs outsource: agencies, SDRs, marketing partners, etc.
- Help define the next GTM hires (sales, marketing, partnerships) and interview them.
What you bring
- 3+ years of experience in GTM roles (sales, founder-led GTM, solutions, or growth) in B2B SaaS or dev tools.
- A track record of closing complex, technical deals with mid-market or enterprise customers.
- Experience as a founding or early GTM hire or in a highly ambiguous, builder-style environment.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills: you can explain a complex platform simply and compellingly.
Nice to have
- Experience selling AI, ML, infrastructure, or developer tools.
- Familiarity with agent frameworks or LLM tooling.
- Prior exposure to partners and ecosystem GTM (cloud marketplaces, platform partnerships, or SIs).

Salary
$180,000 - $300,000 per year
