As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer on one of our Remix product engineering teams, you’ll collaborate with our designers, product managers, and customers to build products that are intensely focused on transit accessibility, equity, and sustainability. Our stack is mostly Typescript (with React, Redux, and Mapbox), Rails, Python, and Postgres/PostGIS. However, it's more important to us that you have experience with full-stack, user-centric development in general than with our specific technologies.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead in refining our planning products, empower planners to navigate new concepts, make data-driven decisions, and rally support behind visionary ideas
• Forge strong partnerships with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and designers, to conceptualize and implement innovative features
• Engage directly with clients to deeply understand their needs, translate insights into robust solutions that exceed expectations
• Apply your extensive expertise across diverse technologies within our tech stack to ensure seamless end-to-end user experiences
• Drive discussions on engineering best practices and architectural strategies within your relevant area of expertise
• Spearhead the optimization of processes and tools to elevate productivity and uphold the highest standards of code quality

Who You Are:

• Minimum of 6 years of professional software engineering experience, preferably in full-stack, user centric development
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Typescript (with React, Redux, and Mapbox), Rails, Python, and Postgres/PostGIS

• Experience in developing complex React applications is a plus, but not required
• Experience with geospatial or mapping technologies is a plus, but not required

Compensation and Benefits:

• Final salary will be determined by the candidate’s experience, knowledge, and skills. Salary reflected does not include equity or variable pay, where applicable.
• Salary Range: $160,000-$200,000
