Warby Parker is looking for a dynamic and curious Consumer Insights Associate Manager to help us better understand Warby Parker’s present and future customers. As a member of our Consumer Insights & Research team, you’ll help conduct primary quantitative and qualitative research—including custom surveys, brand trackers, interviews, and focus groups—to understand the behaviors and attitudes of consumers in our industry. Additionally, you will monitor third-party research to identify shifts in the competitive landscape and industry trends that may impact our business. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on research experience who is excited to see these insights translated into action across the company. This role will report to the Director of Consumer Insights & Research and sit within the broader Warby Parker Strategy team.

What you’ll do:

  • Manage a quarterly Brand Tracker to provide insight into Warby Parker’s brand health and growth
  • Monitor the competitive landscape, industry trends, and shifts in consumer behavior to provide strategic recommendations and identify new opportunities for growth
  • Serve as the expert on the Warby Parker customer, managing reports that help our stakeholders stay up-to-date on key characteristics, metrics, and trends
  • Field quantitative and qualitative research to support strategic initiatives across the company
  • Represent the voice of the customer, blending data-driven insights with qualitative sources to promote a customer-centric culture

Who you are:

  • Backed by 3+ years of experience in a consumer or market research role
  • The owner of a bachelor’s degree (preferably in economics, marketing, psychology, or a similar field)
  • Equipped with hands-on experience planning and conducting quantitative research studies, including survey programming, data analysis, and presentation building
  • Experienced in analyzing large datasets in Excel or Google Sheets and preparing research presentations in PowerPoint or Google Slides
  • A clear, empathetic communicator (both in person and in writing) with experience gathering and sharing insights from data
  • A collaborative problem-solver and a resourceful learner who picks up new skills quickly
  • Intellectually curious and eager to learn, with a no-task-too-small approach
  • Comfortable tackling problems head-on and adapting to shifting priorities
  • Not on the Office of Inspector General’s List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE)

Some benefits of working at Warby Parker for full-time employees:

  • Health, vision, and dental insurance
  • Life and AD&D Insurance
  • Flexible vacation policy
  • Paid Holidays
  • Retirement savings plan with a company match
  • Parental leave (non-birthing parents included)
  • Short-term disability
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
  • Bereavement Support
  • Education Reimbursement
  • Free eyewear
  • And more (just ask!)

About Us:

Warby Parker was founded with a mission: to inspire and impact the world with vision, purpose, and style.

We're constantly asking ourselves how we can do more and make a greater impact, and that starts by reimagining everything that a company and industry can be. We want to demonstrate that a business can scale while doing good in the world, without charging a premium for it. And we’ve learned that it takes creativity, empathy, and innovation to achieve that goal.

Since the day we launched in 2010, we’ve pioneered ideas, designed products, and developed technologies that help people see. We offer everything you need for happier eyes at a price that leaves you with money in your pocket, from designer-quality glasses and contacts to eye exams and vision tests, and you can meet us online, at our stores, or even in your home. Wherever and whenever you need it, we’re there to make exceptional vision care simple and accessible. (Delightful, too.)

Ultimately, we believe in vision for all, which is why for every pair of glasses or sunglasses we sell, a pair of glasses is distributed to someone in need through our Buy a Pair, Give a Pair program.
