Warby Parker is searching for an experienced production leader for our in-house optical manufacturing facility in Sloatsburg, NY. As a Production Lead, you’ll be both a doer and a leader—managing day-to-day operations within a department and helping to oversee a team of associates, all while jumping in to help out with the work yourself! You will be tasked with leading a world-class team of Production Associates in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment. If you take your work seriously (but not yourself!), you may be just the person we’re looking for—so keep reading!

  • Provide actionable and timely feedback on an ongoing basis
  • Conduct job-specific training for other team members
  • Provide regular coaching and conduct morning huddles
  • Evaluate the associates process and provide feedback to the management team
  • Lead by example

Who you are:

  • Equipped with 2+ years of work experience (and specifically at least 12 months of production experience)
  • A team player who’s willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done (and done right!)
  • A person who’s energized by teamwork, with a highly positive outlook
  • Armed with a super-strong work ethic
  • An effective communicator (in person, over email, via carrier pigeon—all of it)
  • Super detailed-oriented
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Stand and/or walk for up to 8–10 hours and be able to push, pull, squat, bend, and reach with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Not on the Office of Inspector General’s List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE)
