What You’ll Do
- Lead and mentor a team of strategists, fostering a culture of rigorous analysis and continuous learning while evolving the team’s operating model to ensure insights flow seamlessly into executive decision-making
- Systematically scan the horizon to identify and unlock new market opportunities, including potential new business lines, product categories, and geographic expansions
- Translate complex research and market data into crisp, compelling narratives and strategic frameworks for Executive and Board-level discussions
- Lead the annual and long-range strategic planning process, turning our bold company vision into a clear, actionable roadmap that guides the entire organization
- Track the execution of the strategic plan and key performance indicators (KPIs), acting as the central hub of accountability and proactively recommending adjustments to stay on course
- Partner with the Consumer Insights team, tasked with deep-dive market research, competitor intelligence, and user experience research, to provide the actionable insights that will shape our most critical strategic decisions
- Partner cross-functionally with leaders across the organization to bridge the gap between high-level strategy and operational execution, ensuring our most important initiatives are set up for success
- Proactively identify and evaluate inorganic growth initiatives, including potential M&A, strategic partnerships, and business cases that align with our long-term vision and customer needs
Who You Are
- Backed by 11+ years of professional experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, or corporate development
- A strategic visionary who can connect disparate dots into a coherent view of long-term value creation
- A seasoned communicator and storyteller who can influence senior stakeholders through structured thinking and clear, empathetic communication
- A proactive leader who thrives in ambiguity, balancing a high-level strategic mindset with a willingness to dive into the details of execution
- An expert at people development, with a proven track record of building high-performing teams and helping others navigate complex business landscapes
- Not on the Office of Inspector General's List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE)
Extra Credit
- Prior experience in venture capital, private equity, or luxury and retail industries
- Familiarity with strategic foresight methodologies and applying future-oriented thinking to high-growth environments
