Warby Parker is looking for an Oracle HCM Technical Lead to strengthen our HR technology landscape. In this role, you’ll be a hands-on technical expert for Oracle HCM, configuring modules, writing SQL, and building the reports and dashboards that power decision-making across the People team. You’ll partner closely with module leads, our managed services team, and stakeholders across HR, Payroll, and IT to turn business needs into smart system solutions.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as a technical lead and functional expert for Oracle HCM, providing hands-on expertise across Core HR, Recruiting, Absence/Time, Performance, Learn, and Compensation
  • Lead the technical design and ongoing optimization of Oracle HCM integrations, including data mapping, testing, deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting
  • Build, maintain, and troubleshoot HCM Extracts, HDL/HSDL data loads, and Fast Formulas to support complex business and system requirements
  • Write advanced SQL queries and build reporting solutions using OTBI and BI Publisher to support reporting, data validation, audits, reconciliations, and troubleshooting
  • Troubleshoot complex system, data, and integration issues, perform root-cause analysis, and manage Oracle issues and enhancements through resolution
  • Lead Oracle HCM projects and system improvements, managing requirements, testing, dependencies, documentation, and deployment
  • Leverage AI tools to improve day-to-day People Systems work while leading the evaluation and implementation of Oracle AI solutions and capabilities
  • Partner with module leads and stakeholders across People, Payroll, Finance, and IT to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions and provide technical oversight to managed services partners and consultants
  • Evaluate Oracle quarterly releases and new functionality, assess business and system impact, and support testing and deployment to minimize disruption

Who You Are

  • 5+ years of HRIS or People Systems experience, including hands-on Oracle HCM configuration
  • Strong SQL skills, with experience querying HCM data for reporting, auditing, and troubleshooting
  • Experience building reports and dashboards in OTBI and/or BI Publisher
  • A collaborative team player who communicates effectively across the entire organization
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • A highly analytical problem solver who enjoys interpreting complex data to find actionable insights

Extra Credit

  • Experience with HCM extracts, HDL/HSDL loads
  • Experience with ADP or Dayforce
  • Previous experience working with a managed services partner
  • Familiarity managing data governance in alignment with Sarbanes-Oxley

For applicable postings, non-exempt employees are eligible for overtime pay if you are required to work more than 40 hours in a workweek.
