SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Sr. Manager of Go-to-Market (GTM) Planning & Events. In this role, you will play a critical part in executing successful events that align with our overall GTM Enablement and Development. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage budgets effectively.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Event Planning:

  • Researcher: Stay updated on industry trends, competition, and market data.
  • LMS expertise in the most innovative solutions and leveraging AI
  • CMS expertise in the most engaging solutions and leveraging AI
  • Expert in certifications, badging and gamification
  • Expert in team building and communication
  • Passionate about education and teaching
  • Creative in new ways to engage learners and build training content
  • Passionate about owning end to end engagement or entire lifecycle

Budget Management:

  • Develop and manage comprehensive budgets for the Growth & Strategy Team, ensuring accurate allocation of resources and adherence to financial guidelines.
  • Track expenses and provide regular budget updates to stakeholders, identifying potential cost-saving opportunities.
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to optimize budgetary resources while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Work closely with finance teams to reconcile expenses and ensure compliance with financial policies.

Vendor Relations:

  • Identify, evaluate, and select vendors and suppliers that align with the event requirements and budget constraints.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, negotiating favorable terms and contracts for services.
  • Manage vendor communications and performance to ensure seamless execution of event plans.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Develop post-event reports, analyzing key metrics and outcomes to assess the success of each event against predefined goals.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for improvement based on event performance and attendee feedback.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of event planning processes by implementing best practices and lessons learned.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Event Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience in event planning and budget management, preferably in a B2B or technology environment.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in budgeting tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to problem-solve and adapt to changing circumstances.
