About the role

We’re looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to help build out our end-to-end AI/ML model development and deployment platform. As a Machine Learning Engineer on Wonder's Platform team, you will work on tooling and automation that supports the range of ML use cases across Wonder, including demand forecasting, supply chain planning, personalization, recommendations, and generative AI applications. Our team works with stakeholders from all over the company to solve complicated problems with cutting edge technology. The experience you have

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in software engineering, focused on delivering ML/AI solutions to production.
• Proven experience in implementing high-quality systems.
• Proficiency in Python, machine learning techniques and operations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with public cloud infrastructure such as Azure, AWS, GCP.
• Nice to have:
• Experience in writing and debugging SQL queries
• Experience with Airflow, Luigi, or similar data orchestration platforms
• Active member of the open source or local tech community

• Working closely with your product and engineering managers to design and build ML solutions that have a profound impact on the business.
• Code that is clean, well-documented, and easy to iterate on.
• Eagerness to learn cross-functionally, not only within the ML domain but also within various business functions like Culinary, Operations, Consumer Product, Marketing, Finance, etc
• Openness to both giving and receiving constructive feedback with the intention of bettering everyone involved
• Thirst for learning and a passion for putting new technologies, processes and patterns into practice in a realistic manner
• Ability to understand how the whole system fits together at both a high level as well as at a detailed level in the given area of responsibility and beyond

Base Salary: $210k
