About the Role

As the People Communications and Programs Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping how we communicate with our employees and bring company-wide programs to life. You’ll join a collaborative and passionate team that values creativity, clear storytelling, and inclusive practices to drive connection and engagement across Wonder.

Key Responsibilities
Program Management

  • Design, implement, and manage HR programs (e.g., performance management, engagement surveys, succession planning, talent development, onboarding).

  • Monitor program effectiveness through data and feedback; recommend improvements to increase impact and efficiency.

  • Ensure alignment of programs with company goals, values, and culture.

HR Communication

  • Develop and deliver clear, consistent, and engaging HR communications for employees at all levels.

  • Write and coordinate key messages, talking points, FAQs, leadership announcements, and change management communications.

  • Manage HR content for internal channels (e.g., intranet, newsletters, town halls).

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner with HR business partners, Talent, Learning & Development, and business leaders to align programs and communications to business priorities.

  • Serve as a key point of contact for HR leaders on communication planning and execution.

Project Management

  • Lead cross-functional projects, including timelines, stakeholder alignment, deliverables, and post-launch follow-up.

  • Track program metrics, report outcomes, and share insights with HR and leadership teams.

What You'll Do

  • Lead internal communications strategy and execution, including company-wide updates, employee newsletters, and messaging around key initiatives

  • Design and implement engaging people programs—such as employee experience milestones, onboarding refreshes, culture campaigns, and internal events

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. Marketing, Ops, DEI, and Leadership) to align messaging and drive participation in company-wide efforts

  • Develop scalable systems and templates that enable consistent communication across all levels of the company

  • Partner with People leadership to identify and deliver thoughtful programming that supports belonging, recognition, and employee engagement

The Experience You Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Communications, Business, or related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in HR, program management, internal communications, or related roles.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to simplify complex topics.

  • Experience managing multiple projects with strong organizational skills.

  • Ability to build relationships and influence across all levels of the organization.

  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment (preferred).

  • Familiarity with communication platforms, HR systems, and data tools (preferred)

Base Salary: $122,000
