Mobile iOS SDK & Ad-Formats Dev Engineer II

Consumer Monetization team’s charter is to Find, Evaluate, Build, and Scale new monetization, subscription and internal campaign tools and products, ad formats and functionalities across all Yahoo brands including Yahoo Homepage, Yahoo Sports, Yahoo Finance, Yahoo News and AOL. This team is uniquely positioned to identify growth and revenue generation opportunities, design and implement solutions across consumer products and advertising platforms including video, display, native, and search.
Work with designers and other App developers (iOS) to design , build and integrate innovative ad formats into popular native apps like Yahoo Mail, Yahoo Sports, Yahoo Finance
Design, Develop and contribute to Architecture solutions for subscriptions and Ads delivery on iOS and Android SDK to achieve business and revenue growth.
Write highly scalable Java and/or Swift code that is maintainable and testable.
Be able to assess business requirements, translate them to development effort and raise issues proactively whenever scope/deadline is impacted
Respond to high impact production incidents due to SDKs delivered to various Native App customers - internal or external
Interact with consumers of Monetization SDK to understand their requirements, pain points and help them succeed.
Participate in full application lifecycle (ideation, design, develop, test, build and deploy)
A Lot About You:
BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
Experience in building SDKs/libraries used by mobile app developers
Experienced in API design and developing clean and maintainable code
Experience in automated testing of mobile application SDK code
Prior experience building SDK's for either iOS or Android, involving integration/building of RestFUL APIs
Ability to mentor and/or coach junior developers
Experience developing in Java/Kotlin or Objective C/Swift
Prior experience building mobile applications using React Native
Experience working with a large codebase and large enterprise environments.

The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions, in addition to equity incentives.
