This individual will work closely with HR business partners, people managers and business leaders to identify, develop and ensure HR initiatives, programs and services drive Yahoo business objectives. The role will support the skills development of the HR Answers Team, and assist in driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:
Foster networking and collaboration with HRBP partners across the organization
Measure, monitor, and impact key HR metrics and dashboards to facilitate change for the future
Respond to employee requests via HR ticketing system (ServiceNow)
Translate business strategies and objectives into an HR agenda, initiatives, and actions – and foster support/ownership for that agenda in the organization from a tactical perspective
Manage cases from open to closure, partner with appropriate teams, and escalate when necessary to ensure responsiveness and a positive outcome
Leverage the COEs (HR Centers of Excellence) to develop and implement programs to improve the customer experience
Leverage network for learning when encountering a new challenge
Intake and analysis of employee requests, validating compliance to company policy
Tier 2 escalation and Employee Relations support as needed
Provide coaching and mentoring to HRAnswers team members on when to engage HRBP support
Create and conduct presentations, facilitate trainings and represent HRA to a global audience
Conduct analysis of HRAnswers ticket data; identify opportunities to improve employee support with a focus on customer experience through the use of a ticketing system (ServiceNow).
Provide project management support for strategic initiatives as needed
Assist with the planning of onboarding, offboarding, and training activity
Evaluate learning curriculums to support HRA development in partnership with HRBPs
Maintain high level of confidentiality and consistency
Minimum Qualifications:
5+ years of HR business partner/generalist experience in a complex, high-growth environment - preferably within a Shared Service structure
Prior experience within media or technology/software development organizations
Demonstrated competence in the various HR functional areas:; change management; organizational development; recruitment; compensation; employee relations
Strong general business knowledge with the ability to communicate across multiple leadership levels
Must have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
Experience working with a global and/or matrixed organization
Experience with presentations, excel functionality (i.e. pivot tables), reporting, and data analysis
Deep understanding of HR policies and proven examples of applying them in a fast paced environment
Ability to make decisions independently in gray areas with mutual benefit to the employee and the organization
Someone who likes to stay current on best practices in the HR Shared Services sector regarding program support and industry best practices

Proactive in developing and effectively introducing alternatives to current HR practices, as appropriate

Sound judgment, high emotional intelligence, business acumen and the ability to embrace and manage change

The compensation for this position ranges from $82,125.00 - $171,250.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions, in addition to equity incentives.
