This role will have a significant impact as you define and own a product strategy focused on delivering engaging content experiences to millions of investors that rely on Yahoo Finance. Your Day at Yahoo Finance:

  • Develop a vision and product strategy for our content experiences across different media formats to reach new users and better engage our existing Yahoo Finance audience.

  • Define the roadmap with high-impact content initiatives, including new products, in collaboration with cross-functional partners to deliver a best-in-class user experience.

  • Support product delivery from ideation through launch: identify the requirements, solve user problems and ensure on-time delivery with high quality.

  • Define and measure content success, user engagement, and quality metrics. Use key performance indicators and user insights to focus and prioritize the highest impact efforts.

  • Communicate progress, prioritize long & short term initiatives, build trust and set expectations with stakeholders.

About You:

  • Location Preference: New York City Metro Area - hybrid work environment

  • You have 4+ years of experience as a Product Manager with a strong track record of creating engaging content and news experiences across text article and video formats.

  • The right candidate will possess a mixture of quantitative chops and creative intuition– someone who loves digging into the data to drive insights combined with excellent product sense to iterate the news and content products our users want.

  • You are a data-driven and analytical Product Manager that thrives in defining hypothesis-driven experimentation. You complement these skills with expertise in content-focused experiences across web platforms.

  • You are familiar with content management systems and understand how to translate ideas into requirements.

  • You are driven to succeed with a high comfort level with ambiguity and fluidity, optimizing for speed and the ability to make decisions in a rapidly changing environment while achieving quality results.

  • You round your skills with a passion for and expertise in business news that will help define, shape and drive us towards a complete wealth-building experience.

  • Your Agile software development experience makes you a credible leader and informs your judgment regarding timelines, scope, quality, priorities, and tradeoffs.

  • You inspire and focus your colleagues using great listening skills, your influence, and crisp, effective communication.

The compensation for this position ranges from $120,750.00 - $251,250.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions, in addition to equity incentives. Yahoo provides industry-leading benefits including healthcare, 401K savings plan, company holidays, vacation, sick time, parental leave and an employee assistance program. Yahoo has a high degree of flexibility around employee location and hybrid working. In fact, our flexible-hybrid approach to work is one of the things our employees rave about.
