About the Team
The Consumer Research team develops the Content Analysis Platform (CAP). CAP is both a platform and a component of other large-scale infrastructure platforms in multiple Yahoo properties and applications, providing text classification by topic and content quality/risk level, and text extraction such as key phrases and automatic summarization. Development work on CAP has an impact on the quality of a variety of internal systems at Yahoo including the Yahoo Home Page, Yahoo Finance, Yahoo Sports, Yahoo Search, advertising systems, and others.
