Storage Engineer II
About the Team
We are looking for a talent to join with us. You have a strong technical background and are well versed in storage or system infrastructure. You have the ability to coordinate and drive multiple projects at the same time. You have a proven track record of driving operational improvements in service level and quality. You can troubleshoot logically and efficiently to quickly resolve a diverse range of issues. You have excellent communication skills and can work cross-functionally to achieve common goals.
Provide Standard Installation and Operations support for Storage/Data Protection Systems.
Alert Management, Diagnosis, Troubleshooting and repair.
Execute change requests for production Storage/Data Protection changes
Required to follow Standard Operating Procedures to perform maintenances.
Setting up backups for Servers and Storage systems and performing restores as needed
On-Call pager support as needed
Case Management and Follow up with Vendors for Root Cause Analysis and closing issues.
Service Assurance and Ticket handling.
Documentation and creating run books.
BS with Decent Sound System Admin Skills
1~3+ years of industry experience
Familiarity with RAID, inode structure, NFS fundamentals
Troubleshooting and repair of Storage Systems skills.
Alert Management, Diagnosis, Troubleshooting and repair of Storage Systems.
May apply project management skills.
Knowledge of accessibility is preferred
