Sales Lead- Yahoo Finance

Responsibilities:
- Identify and prioritize high-potential target clients in the Financial Services category, and other key industries on the East Coast
Develop and execute a sales strategy to meet or exceed revenue targets through the sale of bespoke ad deals
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, from prospecting to contract execution and beyond
Develop deep knowledge of the financial industry, including trends, challenges and key players
Create and present proposals that address the client’s specific business objectives and marketing challenges
Collaborate closely with the product and marketing teams to ensure that bespoke ad deals are tailored to meet the client’s needs
Desired Skills and Experience
10+ years of sales experience in the advertising industry, with a focus on direct sales
Deep understanding of the financial industry, including the ability to speak knowledgeably about market trends, regulatory developments and client challenges
Strong track record of success in meeting or exceeding sales targets
Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and develop compelling proposals
Experience presenting to existing and prospective clients
Ability to understand and leverage insights
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple client relationships and opportunities

The compensation for this position ranges from $174,105.00 - $378,460.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions, in addition to equity incentives.
