  • Be focused on ensuring our content is unique, distinctive and stands out

  • Help develop innovative ways to tell stories through new format approaches

  • Collaborate with our audience team to ensure we’re always striving to reach new audiences

  • Have experience interviewing and sourcing stories with a sound understanding of media law

  • Have experience of working with data and video or a willingness to learn the required skills

  • Have an excellent understanding of the UK news landscape and an awareness of what topics audiences are interested in across News, Entertainment, Culture and more

  • Have a track record of innovation and the ability to constructively challenge convention

  • Be inclusive and have excellent communication skills at all levels, and an ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams

  • Have a National Council for the Training of Journalists (NCTJ) qualification or equivalent
