About Us:

YipitData is the leading market research firm for brands and retailers. We raised $475M from The Carlyle Group at a valuation of over $1B.

We analyze billions of data points daily to provide accurate, detailed insights for brands, retailers, ridesharing, e-commerce marketplaces, payments, and more. Our on-demand insights team uses proprietary technology to identify, license, clean and analyze the data on which many of the world’s largest investment funds and corporations depend.

We are one of Inc’s Best Workplaces - a fast-growing technology company with offices in NYC (where we are based), Hong Kong, and Shanghai. We are backed by Norwest Venture Partners and The Carlyle Group and have a culture focused on mastery, ownership, and transparency.

This is a remote-friendly opportunity that can be based in NYC (where our headquarters is located) or anywhere in the US.

About The Role:

As our Senior Marketing Manager, you will have the opportunity to help define the vision, build a team, and scale marketing for a fast-growing company.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic marketing generalist with 4+ years of relevant marketing experience in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you will have the opportunity to accelerate YipitData’s growth by building a world-class marketing engine.

As a valued thought partner, you will collaborate with the sales and product functions at YipitData to create and execute complex, multi-channel marketing strategies.

As a Senior Marketing Manager, you will:

  • Work with Corporate team leadership to develop marketing strategies, including investment levels, strategic priorities, and execution.
  • Maximize customer acquisition and engagement through the development of channel and strategic initiatives.
  • Understand and articulate the target customer; understand new and competitive products, trends, and opportunities.
  • Understand key lead drivers (email, social, etc.) Track and optimize them to accomplish business goals, document the results and share best practices across the team
  • Partner with stakeholders within and outside the team to drive critical strategic projects
  • Understand how to get the most out of the tools you use to do your job and challenge the existing toolset, successfully working with technical teams to propose and evaluate enhancements that improve efficiency and functionality.
  • Build and operate effective and efficient mechanisms to identify opportunities, tackle challenges, and enable execution.

You are like to succeed If:

  • 4+ years of relevant marketing experience in data, market intelligence, or B2B SaaS
  • Experience creating and executing online and offline marketing strategies
  • Have exceptional operational skills - organization, project management, and problem-solving - skills that have enabled you to be adept at understanding, deconstructing, streamlining, and optimizing complex, large-scale business processes
  • High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously
  • Impeccable written and oral communication skills - ability to articulate ideas and persuade stakeholders
  • Excellent business judgment and strategic aptitude that resulted in a proven track record of driving measurable business results
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to derive actionable conclusions from large data sets (Bias towards data-based decision-making!)

What we offer:

  • Our compensation package includes equity, competitive salary, and performance-based bonuses
  • We care about your personal life and we mean it. We offer flexible work hours, unlimited vacation, a generous 401K match, parental leave, team events, wellness budget, learning reimbursement, and more!
  • Your growth at YipitData is determined by the impact that you are making, not by tenure, unnecessary face time, or office politics. Everyone at YipitData is empowered to learn, self-improve, and master their skills in an environment of ownership, respect, and trust.
  • The annual base salary for this position is anticipated to be $130K ~ $150K. The final offer may be determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal team benchmarks. The compensation package also includes equity.

This role may be performed fully remotely within the United States. Please note that our US headquarters are located in NYC. We also have office hubs in Austin, Miami, Denver, Mountain View, and Seattle. If the remote work is performed outside of these offices, income may be subject to New York State tax withholding.
