About the role

As a Sr. Director of Enterprise Data Platform, you will lead the team responsible for infrastructure, services, and tools to enable end-to-end data management and enable analytics at the enterprise scale. You will take ownership of the data platform's overall strategic direction and execution.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing a strategic data platform roadmap that aligns with the company's tech strategic vision.

  • Leading the design, implementation, and operation of a cloud-based data platform, including architecture, governance, data modeling, integration, and data management.

  • Working closely with business units, IT teams, and data stewards to ensure alignment between the data platform and business objectives.

  • Establishing and implementing all data governance and data security policies.

  • Maintaining focus on effective operational practices, applying insightful measurement to quantify outcomes, maintaining budget and key results.

  • Leading an effective data team through high standards, skill enhancement, clear expectations, and constructive feedback.

  • Developing strong relationships, partnering with procurement team, and vendors and crafting effective contracts.

  • Fostering communication and alignment among leaders and partners across different functions.

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice which must be identified to the Company. Employees may live in any of the 50 US States, with limited exceptions. In certain cases, an employee in a remote-designated job may need to live in a specific region or time zone to support customers or clients as part of their role.In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York and Washington the standard base pay range for this role is $273,400.00 - $436,700.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York and Washington and may not be applicable to other locations.In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.

Who you are

  • 10-12 years of experience leading data teams.

  • Proven success in implementing a wide-reaching data strategy at an enterprise scale.

  • Business insight: Deep understanding of the industry, competitive landscape, and needs of the business. Ability to translate business requirements into solutions that drive value.

  • Technical expertise: Deep knowledge of innovative data technologies, data infrastructures, data platforms, data warehousing, ETL tools. Native experience in a cloud-based infrastructure and standard methodologies for scalable data management.

  • Crafting and ensuring consistency of data governance and security protocols.
