As a Senior Analyst in the Revenue Billing Operations team, you will be a vital member of a dynamic group responsible for the comprehensive and accurate billing of our diverse product suite, including Amazon Affiliate billing, Bridge Interactive, and more. Our team ensures flawless billing execution across various methods and systems like Zuora, Salesforce, and Sage Intacct, contributing significantly to the organization's financial health.

About the role

We are currently seeking a Senior Analyst for our Revenue Billing Operations, someone with a keen strategic mindset and a passion for precision. This role is instrumental in driving our team towards achieving its mission of delivering timely, complete, and accurate billing processes. As the Senior Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the execution of billing tasks while also analyzing billing operations, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing enhancements to optimize efficiency and accuracy in our daily workflows. You will serve as the primary backup to the Manager of Billing Operations, own several billing and reconciliation processes and drive improvements across the billing operations team.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate the billing operations process to improve existing billing flows in collaboration with BeAR program management, Finance Product, FinTech and other Finance teams for projects needed but not prioritized by other teams.

  • Drive operational projects to enhance accuracy and efficiency & improve functionalities in Zuora and Sage Intacct to produce invoices, credit memos, and debit memos as needed.

  • Lead the review and approval of UAT from the BeAR program management team.

  • Serve as the primary billing operations contact for SOX and audit reviews across billing in conjunction with the billing manager.

  • Maintain and update complex billing workbooks to ensure alignment with rapidly evolving business needs.

  • Address and resolve escalations in SalesForce from external clients and internal teams, providing expert solutions to complex billing issues.

  • Lead the creation and updating of subscriptions in Zuora, ensuring compliance with customer agreements and billing policies.

  • Provide high-level support and guidance to both internal stakeholders and external clients regarding billing inquiries.

  • Drive reconciliation and validation processes, identifying discrepancies and implementing corrective actions.

  • Continuously evaluate all billing processes that cannot be automated but can move to the offshore BPO vendor.

  • Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence within the billing team.

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York and Washington the standard base pay range for this role is $73,900.00 - $118,100.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York and Washington and may not be applicable to other locations.In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.

Who you are

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent experience with 5+ years in Business to Business Billing.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead operational projects, streamline processes, and implement system enhancements.
  • Proven track record of collaboration with IT, product managers, sales, and support teams to achieve timely and accurate results.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a history of managing large datasets and complex billing scenarios.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365, Google Docs, Salesforce, and Zuora.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of making data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with a passion for mentoring and developing talent.
