About the role

Zillow is seeking an accountable and engaged resource to join Zillow Group’s Enterprise Vendor Management Team. This position operates with initiative and requires establishing and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure vendor risks are appropriately evaluated and incorporated into vendor/supplier decisions. The responsibilities will encompass vendor onboarding, due diligence coordination, relationship management, vendor performance oversight, score-carding, conducting vendor risk analysis, and providing consistent and focused vendor feedback/reporting. This person will effectively engage across business lines and with various risk SMEs to coordinate vendor risk management activities and ensure vendor associated risks align with enterprise risk tolerance.

As the Vendor Management Analyst, you will:

  • Engage in and drive the full vendor lifecycle including risk assessment, due diligence and ongoing monitoring with key focus on task execution and providing support for strategies, procedures, and systems.
  • Partnering with key internal collaborators to drive fundamental vendor sustainability and diversity initiatives.
  • Effectively drive vendor onboarding and account setup activities.
  • Support completion of vendor risk assessments, collaborating with risk SMEs to achieve program results to manage, reduce, and mitigate vendor risks.
  • Coordinate offboarding.
  • Coordinate monitoring of vendor risk mitigation activities.
  • Use your excellent communications skills to deliver vendor performance results, including SLAs, metrics and scorecards
  • Researches and validates vendor compliance with vendor management policy; help model and advance effective, efficient and compliant workflows
This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York and Washington the standard base pay range for this role is $66,200.00 - $105,800.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York and Washington and may not be applicable to other locations.In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.

Who you are

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in vendor management roles for medium to large enterprises with a strong understanding of risk oversight tools and vendor management standard methodologies
  • Preferred background in ESG, sustainability and diversity programs and initiatives for medium to large organizations
  • High level of proficiency with contract terms and conditions
  • You are passionate about strengthening relationships in our business and the communities we serve by networking with organizations that support diverse suppliers
  • Have good problem-solving abilities, be results-oriented, with excellent interpersonal, collaboration and presentation skills enabling the ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team located in multiple geographies and to collaborate with various team members
  • Strong communication skills, including written and verbal. Champions the organization and advocates solutions in the overall company's best interest
