The Data and Platforms organization at Zillow is enabling personalization across Zillow experiences and services in deep partnership across lines of business. This role is in our Customer Data and Identity team which is foundational to personalization as identity and accurate data are table stakes.

About the role

This Senior Product Manager role will set the vision and lead strategy for Auth Factors and Security spanning across the capabilities within our Customer Data and Identity team. Your account is your key to Zillow. A secure account is vital for any move journey. We strive to bring easy-to-use auth factors and provide the right security level at the right time so customers can easily move forward in their move, whether renting, buying, or selling. Use CIAM platform knowledge to improve authentication process on Zillow with customer data.

You Will Get To:

  • Set a vision for how easy access to a secure account is central to Zillow Group’s customer promise

  • Define the roadmap for authentication factors, using data and analysis to gain a deep understanding of our customer's difficulties

  • Engage with other product areas and engineering teams to craft a joint strategy for using a consistent auth factor experience

  • Define metrics for that will evaluate success for authentication factor use

  • Identify and prioritize opportunities for improvement of authentication experiences across Zillow

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $145,500.00 - $232,500.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC and may not be applicable to other locations.In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.

Who you are

  • You are a Product Manager who has led complex foundational and platform products through the lens of the customer.

  • You are familiar with CIAM concepts and comfortable talking about authentication.

  • Defines annual and quarterly product goals, objectives, estimated impact and success metrics that align to business strategy and product vision

  • Plans across multiple teams, estimating level of effort, and identifying dependencies and resource needs

  • Balances strategic priorities, business goals, user needs, technical feasibility, and time to market to define impactful product solutions

  • Delivers on-time every time: gets to the core of a problem, identifies what needs to be done, and mobilizes teams to get results

  • Appropriately and timely communicates and crafts documentation for varying levels of complexity, breath, or audience

  • Investigates metrics movements and makes data driven product decisions

  • Finds common ground, and leads, inspires and mentors

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in product management with experience in consumer-facing products, SaaS, FinTech or other relevant experience

  • Experience with authentication technologies or security protocols

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Proven track record in leading product initiatives
