The Sales Insights team at Zillow is essential in shaping the company's sales strategy and operations. We collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure our sales processes are data-driven and optimized for maximum efficiency and productivity.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced analytical partner with strong business acumen to lead our Sales Insights team as a Senior Manager, Sales Insights. Reporting to the Director of Sales Planning & Insights, you will drive our analytics roadmap, implement core reporting to empower sales, manage our sales operations pipeline forecast, and provide key insights during weekly business reviews. Your leadership will be crucial in enhancing sales productivity.

You Will Get To:

  • Oversee sales analytics, KPIs, and reporting systems to provide insights into sales performance and support data-driven decision-making.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders and IT to standardize key data elements and their sources.

  • Develop and implement a roadmap to streamline data insights. Integrate these insights into standard systems and consolidated views to maximize sales efficiency.

  • Develop insights and models to enhance forecasting and pipeline management. Accurately project revenue and identify new opportunities.

  • Prioritize account scoring and triggers to enhance sales rep productivity and territory optimization.

  • Work closely with Marketing, Finance, Product, Sales, and Customer Success to ensure alignment and foster a cohesive approach to customer acquisition and retention.

  • Manage and mentor a team of sales operations professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $139,800.00 - $223,200.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC and may not be applicable to other locations.In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.

Who you are

  • 8+ years of experience in Sales/GTM Operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Experience in the technology or real estate industry is preferred.

  • Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams, with a focus on driving results and fostering a collaborative environment.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with experience presenting to executive leadership.

  • Expert analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

  • Ability to translate business goals into actionable sales strategies and initiatives.

  • Strong proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred), BI tools (Tableau preferred), and data analysis (Databricks, SQL, Tableau, GSheets/Excel). Sales tools (Gong, Salesloft).
