ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:
As the Manager of Consumer Product Marketing - eCommerce and Guest, you'll be key to enhancing the overall planning journey for couples and their event attendees. You'll achieve this by launching cutting-edge solutions that streamline the experience, making it more seamless for everyone involved. This means bringing valued, differentiated consumer solutions to market, using deep customer insights to boost high-value actions and customer lifetime value. You'll work closely with product teams and other stakeholders, influencing the roadmap and refining product positioning, messaging, and adoption strategies to drive engagement among wedding guests and couples.
You'll be instrumental in leading cross-functional discussions and alignment, and contributing to research and process improvements. You'll support the Product Marketing team in boosting product consideration, engagement, and advocacy, including competitive monitoring and ensuring marketing clarity. By reflecting our customers' voice in products and messaging, and driving product satisfaction measurement, you'll inform development strategies and partner with marketing channel teams to drive product adoption and retention. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Enhance the overall planning journey for couples and their attendees, including launching cutting-edge solutions that streamline the experience.
- Bring valued, differentiated consumer solutions to market by leveraging customer insights to drive high-value actions and customer lifetime value.
- Collaborate closely with eCommerce product teams to guide in-product experience and messaging, and influence the product roadmap.
- Own product messaging, claims development, and adoption drivers, refining product positioning and messaging strategies.
- Initiate and lead research initiatives to gather insights, inform consumer product strategy, and develop a consistent, deep understanding of the market and competitive landscape.
- Develop Go-To-Market (GTM) context for new products and features, providing guidance and feedback to the integrated marketing team.
- Lead cross-functional discussions and alignment for strategic launches and GTM plans.
- Guide and collaborate with integrated marketing teams for creative and channel execution, including managing onsite integration.
- Improve GTM quality and timeliness by ensuring marketing and channel owners understand the strategic roadmap and narrative (e.g., through a monthly product release forecast).
- Analyze couple engagement data and conduct consistent competitive monitoring to understand market trends, identify opportunities, and drive follow-up actions.
- Establish new and refine existing product satisfaction and NPS measurement in partnership with market insights and UX research teams to identify and advocate for innovative solutions.
SUCCESSFUL MANAGER, CONSUMER PRODUCT MARKETING CANDIDATES HAVE:
- Minimum 3-5 years product marketing experience
- Experience marketing to tech consumers strongly preferred
- Works well cross-functionally, particularly with research, product, and channel teams.
- Demonstrated ability to influence product strategy based on market research and customer insights.
- Track record of using “test & learn” to drive continuous improvement.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at one time, prioritizing and organizing effectively
- Outstanding writer and editor with exceptional attention to detail
- Excels at strategic thinking as well as rolling up sleeves to get things done
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with all levels of management
- Bachelor's Degree with a strong academic record
