We’re united by authentic connection, shared purpose, and a deep commitment to the global community we serve. Here, flexibility and belonging go hand in hand with high performance. Our people are at the heart of our success.
ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:
We are seeking a Lead Product Manager to define and own the future of the wedding guest management for The Knot Worldwide. You will be the single-threaded owner responsible for the multi-year strategy, product performance, and user experience of a platform that transforms a complex, manual process into a single source of truth. This platform powers everything from invitations and messaging to RSVP tracking and day-of seating charts. We're looking for a product-led entrepreneur who thrives at the intersection of data-driven thinking and consumer-grade UX. You will report to the Senior Director of Product and lead a dedicated squad of exceptional design, data, and engineering partners. If you are obsessed with solving complex, UX, and data-workflow problems and are passionate about making one of life's biggest moments joyful (and seamless), this is your opportunity.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drive outcome-focused execution—what matters most is how the product impacts our customers and our business.
- Define the strategic vision and multi-year roadmap for the TKWW Guest Experience, from initial guest list creation and management to day-of event logistics.
- Own the product lifecycle for the core Guest List platform, treating it as a central, scalable service that powers multiple high-value use cases (e.g., Digital Invitations, RSVP, Guest Messaging, Seating Charts).
- Champion a world-class couple's planning experience, deeply understanding the user psychology of managing social relationships and stressful event logistics to reduce friction and build user confidence.
- Partner with design and user research to prototype, test, and launch new guest management experiences, such as intuitive list importing, household grouping, multi-event RSVP tracking, or collaborative seating charts.
- Develop solutions for complex data and workflow challenges, including managing 'plus-ones,' dietary restrictions, guest communication, and syncing data across web and app platforms.
- Own the key business metrics for guest platform adoption and engagement, such as guest list creation, RSVP completion rates, and cross-product data usage.
- Act as the company's foremost subject matter expert for guest data management and event planning workflows, guiding executive stakeholders and architects on strategic and technical decisions.
- Lead and mentor a pod of engineers and analysts, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making, rapid experimentation, and customer obsession.
- Collaborate with product leaders to ensure the Guest Management platform unlocks new value and creates a cohesive user journey.
SUCCESSFUL LEAD PRODUCT MANAGER CANDIDATES HAVE:
- 7+ years in product management, with a track record of driving complex, high-impact consumer-facing initiatives.
- Deep experience in building products with complex UX/UI workflows, data management challenges, or platform-based services (e.g., project management tools, CRMs, design tools, or event management systems).
- A well-developed point of view on how to simplify sophisticated user problems and build intuitive, multi-step, and multi-platform user journeys.
- The ability to set strategic direction and help ideate and launch new products and experiences from scratch.
- The ability to refer to quantitative and qualitative data in making product decisions, and have experience with analytics and research tools + methods.
- A track record of creating quality consumer experiences that solve real user needs and drive measurable business growth.
- The skills to communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with your partners, stakeholders, and executives.
- Keen design aesthetics and deep user empathy, with a user-centered mentality.
- A track record of being a strong partner for engineers, empathetic to their unique needs, and you believe in balancing feature work with managing tech debt.
