ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:
The Sr. Associate, Communications will join The Knot Worldwide’s Global Communications team, with a focus on providing support across external and internal communications initiatives. Reporting to the VP, Global Communications and Impact, this person will have the opportunity to work across communications functions and produce materials that are essential to the team’s success. This person will excel in organization, attention to detail, and prioritization as well as have the ability to work well under pressure and within a fast-paced environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:- Provide support to The Knot Worldwide’s Global Communications team across external and internal communications initiatives.
- Build and maintain media lists with a focus on the top publications that will make an impact for TKWW’s target audiences.
- Assist in updating the TKWW’s corporate website, LinkedIn, and Glassdoor with timely, accurate, and engaging content.
- Draft and post content to TKWW’s internal communications channels, including our company Intranet.
- Manage and maintain the global PR calendar to ensure effective collaboration among the Global Communications Team and key stakeholders.
- Assist in the development of key press materials such as briefing documents.
- Track media coverage and maintain ownership of a tracker that aligns with department and business goals.
- Provide general administrative support to the VP, Global Communications and Impact.
SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES HAVE:
- Between 3-5 years of public relations or communications industry experience.
- Prior PR agency experience preferred.
- A Bachelor’s degree in PR, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Exceptional writing skills with the ability to craft clear, concise, and compelling content across various formats, including blog posts, social media updates, briefing documents, and more.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of major social media platforms, content management systems, and analytics tools (like Google Analytics) to monitor engagement and optimize strategy.
- A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to handle sensitive issues and navigate unexpected challenges.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and quickly adapt to changing priorities or a fast-moving news cycle.
WORK MODEL:
This role is Together@TKWW-eligible and based near one of our office hubs. You’ll be expected to work in the office two days a week as part of our hybrid work model.
