ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:
We’re seeking a talented Marketing Manager to join The Bash.
The Bash, part of The Knot Worldwide family, is an online event marketplace that helps party hosts and event planners find entertainment and event services of all kinds. We’ve facilitated over 525,000 bookings and have more than 15,000 event vendors, ranging from musicians and photographers to impersonators and magicians. The Bash empowers people to make a living doing what they love, and we take pride in being able to do so.
The Bash is looking for a smart, passionate, and experienced Marketing Manager to conceptualize and create content, emails, messaging, social posts, and communications that meet the needs of our vendors, our brand, and our users. The right candidate is a high-energy, self-motivated individual who is passionate about helping event professionals do what they love for a living!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop the strategy and execution for B2B content, including blogs, emails, webinars, videos, newsletters, and other resources that help to drive new prospects and improve member education & retention
- Be an expert in creating, writing, and tracking call-to-action emails, promotional email campaigns, and email workflows to drive results, KPIs, and revenue
- Work closely and support our Sales Team with talking points, sales scripts, value props, sell sheets, and more to help close leads to paying vendors
- Create clear marketing hooks and value props for our products and services and turn those into incredibly effective marketing materials, FAQs, and more
- Assist with lead generation initiatives, including working alongside our paid social & SEM team to brainstorm new ads, copy, and audiences to generate more prospects
- Write clear, concise, and compelling copy and communications for internal and external talking points for vendors and party planners
- Leverage editorial content for B2C social marketing, as well as vendor spotlights for B2B marketing
SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES HAVE:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in content marketing and/or communications (fast-paced tech company a plus)
- Exceptional, persuasive writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with the demonstrated ability to write for and connect with small business owners (promotional copywriting a plus)
- Detail-oriented, with high standards for brand, messaging, quality, and consistency of content
- High-performing self-starter with proven ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strategic, creative thinker with critical analysis and problem-solving skills, along with flexibility and adaptability
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interface across multiple departments, while willing to balance personal achievement with group goals
- Ability to make timely decisions, anticipate problems and provide creative solutions
- Experience with Google Adwords, Facebook ads, and Instagram ads all a plus
- Experience in email marketing and marketing automation preferred (HubSpot a major plus)
- Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Demonstrated track record of using communications to achieve specific goals
- Capacity to juggle multiple priorities for various stakeholders effectively within a fast-paced environment
- Experience in Social Media & Content Creation: Hands-on experience in developing social media content across platforms such as Pinterest, Instagram, and Facebook to engage a consumer-focused audience.
WORK MODEL:
This role is fully remote and not tied to any specific office location. While there are no regular in-office requirements, we encourage our remote team members to gather intentionally for key company and team events to stay connected and engaged.
